The morning is my favorite time to take photos. I shot this recently on a foggy morning at Deep Creek Lake in Western Maryland. Please see second photo and more text below.
Getting up early is not just about capturing golden light from the sun. Deep Creek Lake for instance, will be abuzz with boats later in the day. In the moments before and after dawn, its just me and a couple of fishing boats here and there. When the fog blocks the sun a nice blue tint fills the frame creating an entirely different mood and feel.
