Over the next few days I wanted to share some of this blog’s most viewed posts of 2016. Some of the posts were new to this year and some were not. Today’s post ran in the spring of 2016, previewing the annual Birdfest at Deep Creek Lake which is held each May.
The third annual Garrett County (MD) Birdfest is scheduled to take place next weekend, Friday, May 6- Sunday, May 8. This great event includes four guided birding trips to four area birding spots in the county. The best part for photographers in my opinion is an aviary encounter scheduled for Saturday, May 7 at the Discovery Center in Deep Creek Lake State Park. Please see more photos and text below.
