I photographed this barn one fall in a remote area of Deep Creek Lake (MD).

I was drawn to the building by its color and by the lines of shade being cast across the building by a nearby tree. I have driven past this barn several times since I took this photo but it never looked like it did on this day.

It serves as an important reminder that when you see a beautiful photo in front of you, you must stop and take the picture then, not later. There are no guarantees the light or look will every look the same in the same place again.
