Beautiful images Rob, a wonderful showcase of your northern hemisphere birds. Some of these birds are also found in our country, such as the Northern Shoveler which you have labelled duck in flight and the Pacific Black Duck with its ducklings and its beautiful iridescent green speculum. You have some wonderful photos, thanks for sharing!.

Rob, I featured several of these birds in my poem “Hope, in bird form”. I’m interested in what you think of my observations. Here’s the link: http://helianthusblog.com/2013/08/24/hope-in-bird-form/
    Thanks!

Hi Sarah, sorry to be so late in replying. My lens of choice is a 70-200 2.8. Though sometimes I rent a 300 zoom from lensrental.com
