Getting the Most Out of What is Around You in Your Photos

Sunflowers on their own are pretty, but when you can frame your subjects in such a way that you incorporate place or location into your photo, you can tell an even better story with your camera. This photo was taken in a more rural area of Garrett County, Md. The red barn makes this photo a lot more interesting not to mention that fact it tells you this field is part of a farm.  (please see second photo below)

This photo was taken last year near the Garrett County Fairgrounds. Again, the Ferris wheel adds a sense of place to this picture.
