I shot this photo one morning about a year ago in the main concourse at National Airport. The sun was shining brilliantly through the tall windows onto a United States Flag. It was one of those moments that just jumps up and says take this photo.

National went through a renovation and expansion in the 1990’s and the results were quite pleasing. While not innovative as Dulles Airport, the new design was a definite step up over National’s original layout.

Before posting this photo I took a closer look at the flag in this picture and noticed there is a security camera (eye in the sky) directly above the stars and stripes.
