This spring has been an incredible time for bluebirds in Fairfax County.
After photographing and videotaping a family of bluebirds for the last several weeks, earlier this weekend the feeding of the fledglings on our back deck commenced.
Today, Memorial Day, the fledglings’ feeding frenzy went full tilt. Thanks to some patience and some nice overcast skies, I was able to capture these images this morning.
I hope your Memorial Day is going well. Thank you to all those (and their families) who have served and sacrificed so we can continue to enjoy the freedom we do, even in these very challenging times. We can never take them for granted.
