There is nothing more invigorating than to visit Swallow Falls State Park on a warm summer day and stand next to the crashing 53-foot tall Muddy Creek Falls.

Muddy Creek is one of three waterfalls in this state park in Garrett County. The Youghiogheny River flows along the park’s borders. Little Tolliver Falls (below) located on the opposite end of the park is a favorite of photographers.
