I love neon lights and winter scenes. When the two are juxtaposed, great things happen! (please see more text and a second photo below)
I also added a paint daubs effect in Photoshop in post- processing. This photo was actually taken with an old pocket Canon digital camera. A small flash on the camera lit up some of the snow flakes in the foreground.
The photo was taken in an entertainment district of Rosemont near the Fashion Outlets of Chicago in Rosemont.
Below is a photo of neon lights I shot in Pittsburgh last fall.
