Here are some more images from my first visit to Havre de Grace, MD. (please see more photos and text below)
Havre de Grace is situated north of Baltimore, at the mouth of the Susquehanna River and the head of Chesapeake Bay.
The afternoon I was there the clouds were magnificent and the water was fairly still, a great combination for some compelling views of the horizon.
As always, I try to get people in my photo to add that human perspective. The scene above worked well for me as the couple on the bench was watching a small boat sail by. They actually helped frame the photo as well.
In addition to the terrific boardwalk and water views, points of interest in Havre de Grace include the Concord Point Lighthouse, the Havre de Grace Decoy Museum and Havre de Grace Maritime Museum.
Thanks for dropping by today and I hope you have a wonderful weekend, Rob
