I love black and white photography. When you are trying to feature the form, texture, shades or character of a subject, there is no better medium. (see below for more text and an additional photo)
Both of these images were shot at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna, Virginia. Not many flowers in blooms outdoors this time of year, but Meadowlark also features an indoor atrium that includes some flowers and plants, like the one shown below.
