While on assignment in Fauquier County earlier this month I dropped by Lake Brittle for some quick shots. Brittle is located outside Warrenton, Va., around the New Baltimore section of the county. (Please see below for more text and photos)
The weather was fall-like and the lake was very still, ideal conditions for photography. The beautiful clouds above at times reflected perfectly off the still water.
Boaters began to launch their crafts(as shown in top photo) for the afternoon adding to the picturesque tableau. Lake Brittle is operated by the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries.
