As we are at about the halfway point of summer, below is a gallery of flower photos that have run on the blog over the past few months. Enjoy!

Thank you to all the dedicated volunteers who help make places like Green Spring Gardens in Fairfax County, Va., Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna, Va., and Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden in Richmond, Va.,so beautiful each year! Living in Virginia  I feel incredibly lucky to live in a state that has such an unusual abundance of botanical gardens!
