Good morning and welcome to July! I took another of my hour jaunts thru Green Spring Gardens in Fairfax County earlier this week. Towards the end of my walk I came upon this beautiful peach-colored Calla lily located near the visitors center. Please see second photo below
It was a very hot and humid morning and several of the gardens had just been watered. The few water drops added some nice texture to the plant and the flowers behind it provided some nice framing.
If you have not been to Green Spring this summer (or ever for that matter) be sure to add it to your to do list. As I have said before, it is my favorite garden in the area to photograph.
