Green Spring Gardens always offers fun things to see on top of its beautiful gardens. In the past I have featured the park’s homemade birdhouses and today I am posting photos I shot recently of the first installment in the park’s environmental art series. Above, the historic house at Green Springs is framed by a translucent curtain of soda bottle bottoms. Please see second photo below.

Please be sure to check out another recent Green Spring post on why Green Spring is my favorite place to photograph flowers.

Update July 8, today I saw a post on the Green Spring Facebook page that explains more about the bottle art  exhibit  called  Bottle Botanica

It reads : Green Spring Gardens’ staff and volunteers got crafty and fashioned flowers, birds, cacti, bugs and more out of recycled bottles to put on display in the gardens. Stop by to enjoy their creative handy work. On display now through September 3rd, 2016

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today, Rob

My pleasure. I do my best to let as many people as possible know what a great place Green Spring is. It is my favorite park (and I have been to a lot of them around here)
