Fairfax County is very fortunate to have two of the best botanical gardens in the region, Green Spring Gardens Park and Meadowlark Botanical Gardens. In addition to a wide variety of plants to photograph, both include some creative theme gardens including the Fairy Garden at Meadowlark and the Birdhouse Garden at Green Springs shown above. This small gardens is surrounded by many handmade birdhouses that are colorful and quaint.
