I have always had a fascination with window displays. This window I saw while walking in the Old Town Area of Winchester,Va., last week is one of the more eclectic storefront windows I have seen in a while.

Definitely eclectic 🙂 I was particularly struck by the framed saying, “God Bless Our Assault Weapons.”
Thanks for the comment. I need to point out something on that. I think that originally was meant as a joke. That framed picture appeared to be a page from MAD Magazine, a comedy and parody publication which tends to be very tongue and cheek. The MAD write up on it can be found here http://www.madmagazine.com/blog/2013/01/15/a-sneak-peak-at-mads-next-back-cover
Wow that was a blast from the past, I haven’t read a MAD magazine in more years then I can remember. Oh yes I appreciated that the framed item was most likely a “joke.” Even though I’ve known some people over the years who would proudly hang that in their home and very much mean it.
