Rescued Barred Owl, Deep Creek Lake State Park, MD. This photo was taken during the special Aviary Encounter held this past weekend at Deep Creek Lake State Park’s third annual Birdfest. This rescue owl lives in the park’s aviary. Park staff brought several birds and placed them on branches and perches for photos. Please stay tuned to ISBAA for more Bird Fest photos later this week.
