I had the good fortune of driving near the historic Casselman Bridge in Grantsville, MD. earlier this month during a late March snow. (please see second photo below)

According to a state historical marker located near the bridge “This 80 foot span was the largest stone arch in America at the time. It was continuously used from 1813 to 1933.”

The bridge is a very majestic structure and it a treat to photograph in any weather. The bridge is located next to Spruce Forest Artisan Village which is worth a visit in itself.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today, Rob
