Everyone loves a cute animal photo.

I recorded this moment several years ago during the annual St. Patricks Day parade in Old Town Alexandria.

It happened quickly and I was lucky I just happened to looking the right way when this exchange unfolded.

A brave puppy introducing itself to the neighborhood.
