Today I wanted to share a few more photos taken at Green Spring Gardens in Alexandria, Va. earlier this month. I wanted to get one last look at the flowers before area’s first frost of the season, which parts of the D.C. Area flirted with this weekend. (please see below for more photos and more text)
Green Spring, tucked away behind an office park and a car dealership, in my opinion is the best place to photograph flowers in Northern Virginia. Even deep in to the autumn season, there are still flowers to photograph. The staff and an army of local volunteers do an incredible job of keeping up the gardens.
All three of these photos were taken with a 60mm Macro.
