I photograph a lot of dogs. The photo with the painted background was created with an iPad app called Procreate. It is a great app that allows you do paint on or around a photo using either your finger or a stylus. It does somewhat more than that, but for this photo, that is how I used Procreate. Thanks for the comment and question Kap! (the other shot was manipulated on my Mac using the Paint Daubs filter in Adobe Photoshop)
