This is one of those photos I am just not sure about. I would like to shoot it again, but maybe it works as is. I would love to know what the folks who see this blog think.

I took this photo during a house and garden tour in June in Garrett County. It was on the grounds of the last house on the tour and included 30 acres of gardens and ponds. It was stunning. If it had been the first spot on the tour I would have never ended up seeing the other three homes. The other three were good too, but this property was like going to a botanical garden. I also shot the butterfly photo posted earlier this week at the same place.

I did not use a tripod while photographing these very small flowers so the depth of field is very shallow. I sort of like the composition and the different shades of green.

So my questions is to you is, does this photo work? Or is it just too subtle.
