After a mild winter, portions of the East Coast could be hit with a significant snow event tonight and tomorrow. Here are some older photos I shot of a squirrel searching for some peanuts. For those of you bird lovers, if it does snow, don’t forget to fill the feeders (the squirrels will appreciate you too!) (please see more photos below)
Please see second photo below.
This morning I woke up to this beautiful site in the back yard. The sun was shining as the birds found a peaceful place to perch on the porch. After two days of snow, things are starting to return to normal, a little. See below for what a nearby street looked like. By the way, the photo above was taken with an Apple iPhone 6. The camera on the 6 just blows me away! Read more
Hope everyone is doing well in the snow. As promised here is a photo shot this morning of the bird feeder pictured yesterday after 18 more hours or so of snow had fallen on it. To see what it looked like yesterday afternoon, please look below. Read more
Wishing all of my friends on the East Coast the best this weekend during the big snow. The photo above was taken during the last major storm in the D.C Area. Please don’t forget to make sure our feathered friends have something to eat as most of their regular food sources might be several feet under cover. To get an idea how much snow Northern Virginia has received so far as of 5pm Friday afternoon, check below. Love birds? Check out a gallery of my bird photos by clicking here. Read more
