Beach Dunes
I shot this photo several years ago at the beach. Sand Dunes in certain areas of the Mid Atlantic (including in Virginia and North Carolina) are not as plentiful as they used to be thanks in large part to erosion issues.

First Signs of Spring
Over the past weekend we saw a brief preview of spring in the form of blooming crocuses. It was a site for sore eyes which was quickly covered by a half of foot on snow on Monday.
