The aviary at Deep Creek Lake State Park hosts a variety of rescued birds including the Golden Eagle (top) and an Eastern Screech Owl (above).

Last spring the park hosted a photo day during which park staff and volunteers perched the birds on trees in the park so visitors could view and photograph the birds up close.
