I shot this photo several years ago at the beach. Sand Dunes in certain areas of the Mid Atlantic (including in Virginia and North Carolina) are not as plentiful as they used to be thanks in large part to erosion issues.
I have always been attracted to these vistas. The contrast of the sand colors and green sea oats set against white puffy clouds and blue skies are very calming.
