Northern Male Cardinal in the Virginia Snow

There are few things more stunning to see on one’s back porch than a male northern cardinal in the snow. (please see more photos below)

As the D.C. area ended up getting a little more snow than expected this morning, the white snow made a great back drop for the cardinals at the feeder.
