I captured this series of action photos a couple of years ago on the coast of Virginia.
I was photographing seabirds as the sun went down and noticed somewhat of a commotion taking place over my shoulder.
I turned to see a fisherman and his buddy reeling in their first catch for the afternoon.
Fortunately, I had my longest lens on and I kept with the action as this man nailed down the fish and then brought it back to his friend.
Thanks to my experience in sports photography, I have always been conditioned to stick with the flow of action until its completed. Sometimes this can end up with a tight little series of images that tell a quick story.
For one of my favorite series of three, please check out Camera Shy in Boulder.
Thanks so much for dropping by my blog today, Rob
